Campaigning across Atlantic Canada
For each election in our region, the HCSA offers itself of service to PC parties and the Conservative Party of Canada to canvass doors, phone bank, and put up signs.
These are opportunities not only to learn how to run campaigns but build strong relationships and connections, and see the beautiful Maritimes!
Monthly Events with Special Guests
Each month, often more than once, the HCSA organizes events such as fundraisers, pub nights, debates, policy discussions, Moosehead games, and more.
These are great opportunities to learn more about Canadian politics and also meet new, like minded friends and connect with influential leaders in business and politics.
AGM, Convention, and More!
In March of each year, we have our annual AGM to elect the new Exec team and celebrate accomplishments made over the year.
We make efforts to attend other special events such as the Conservative National Convention held every 2 years and the yearly PC AGM in the Winter.
Tiers of Membership
Executive
The Executive Team is the head leadership group responsible for running, promoting, and funding the HCSA. The Executive Team is comprised of 6 roles: President, VP Internal, VP External, VP Campuses, VP Media, and Treasurer.
1st Tier
Board of Campuses
Our VP of Campuses serves as the head of this board, which is comprised of Campus Reps, serves as a stepping stone for those who wish to eventually run for Executive positions, and is not as much of a commitment as the Exec.
2nd Tier
General Membership
General members are the first ones to know about upcoming events, are welcome to run for the Exec or become Campus Reps, and are welcome to attend special events like the annual PC AGM, travel opportunities, and more.
